Comedy, house, the best in funk, dance and "uplifting" vocals every Saturday until 2.00am, and regular monthly events by the Glasshouse (of Leeds) bringing (quote) "glamour and outrage" to Manchester - Saturday night to Sunday morning every month from 2.30am - 9.00am. BERNARD MANNING'S EMBASSY CLUB

The Embassy Club is Bernard Manning's own and long established creation, specialising in his own upfront, provocative and abrasive humour, usually with 2 or 3 supporting acts. Open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from 7.30pm. Pool Hall and Bar adjoining - open every day.

BUZZ, THE

Probably the oldest comedy club in Manchester, it has been a showcase for many of the city's leading comedians. Seats 200. Usually on Thursdays 8.00pm-11.00pm.

COMEDY STORE

Situated in the trendy Castlefield Deansgate Locks, the famous Comedy Store opened in Manchester in September 2000 on the heels of its more celebrated London venue. It boasts a 500 seat auditorium, apublic bar, dining area and other entertainments delights.

FROG & BUCKET COMEDY CLUB
Frog & Bucket Inn Oldham Street, Manchester.
This relocated pub (which, confusingly, used to be in Newton Street - that pub is now called Tommy Ducks) is usually open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings (telephone to check).

IRISH JESTERS COMEDY CLUB

Opus is a new venue to come to the Printworks in Manchester and it is a brand new concept in entertainment.
