Extensive regular pub events, from Sign Language evenings, pub quizzes, sing-along evenings, and faith healing evenings (?). Parts of this ancient pub date back to the 13th century and marks the spot where James Stanley was executed in the Civil War. Curries, chillis and other delights including hot soup and bread are served. Ghostly guided tours arranged by the landlord.
