The Artist
Kyran Hall
has been living in south Manchester since 1967.
A prolific
primitive painter he exchanged his brushes for a glass cutter
in 1980 and set up his glass studio in 1981.
His work designing
and manufacturing traditional stained glass windows allows time
and money to subsidise his explorations into all aspects of decorative
glass, from large fused panels to tiny pieces of jewellery.
His fused
glass mosaic pictures convey his delight in using glass in the
creative process while his cameo cut work explores a lost world
of Druids, Romans and Celts
In 2005 he was awarded first prize for fused glass in the nationwide
Pearsons Prize competition.
Kyran sells
his work worldwide and delights in the diversity of the global
village.
He has recently
shown at The Printworks
Manchester, The Lowry Manchester,
Oriel Gorsaf Angelsey, Michael Praed Gallery, Marazion and Expo
Hogar Y Jardin 2006.
His work can
be seen in many private galleries.
