Metroshuttle Free City Centre Buses
A completely

to central bus provision and aimed at improving public transport

The two circular routes take in all major rail stations, bus
stops and Metrolink Tram stops.
Routes
At present the routes are:
Metroshuttle

to Chinatown, King Street, Deansgate, St Marys Gate, Market
Street and Piccadilly Gardens.
Metroshuttle
2 (Green): based at Victoria Rail Station and running to Albert
Square, Oxford Road Station, Deansgate Station and back along
Deansgate to Victoria Station.
A further
service into Spinningfields is planned to be introduced in 2003.
The Providing
Partnership
The buses are all brand new easy access, low floor, low emission
and have been provided by a partnership between Manchester City
Council, Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive (GMPTE),
National Car Parks (NCP), Allied London Properties (Spinningfields),
