1890:
Crumpsall, Blackley & Moston, Newton Heath, Clayton, Openshaw and West Gorton annexed.

1903:
Heaton Park annexed.

1904:
Moss Side, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Withington, Burnage and Didsbury annexed.

1909:
Gorton and Levenshulme annexed.

1913:
Heaton Norris annexed.

1931:
Wythenshawe annexed
