Dating back to 1858 this City Centre grade II listed building has an amazing detailed balconied stairway throughout the building. All 363 bedrooms are tastefully decorated and furnished with TV, Hairdryer, Trouser Press and Tea & Coffee making facilities. There are some rooms that do not have a window but most have skylights and are air-conditioned, choosing these allows you to save some money for those budget conscious!

The hotel also boasts three great restaurants that include Crompton’s French restaurant serving traditional French Cuisine, Jenny’s Restaurant and bar with its excellent value for money 3-course Carvery Lunch and Dinner and The Overstuffed Pizzeria with a varied selection of Italian Dishes and lighter meals in bright and air surroundings. In addition there are three bars, Cromptons Bar being the quiet, ambient residents bar to Bar Rogue, a popular and vibrant bar, open till late for residents and non-residents.

There is nine Conference rooms available for any occasion and cater for up to 250 people. WIFI is free to all guests and is available in all public areas of the hotel.
