Description of the Sunrise Costa Calma Beach Resort and
Apartments, Fuerteventura
The
Sunrise Costa Calma Beach Resort and Apartments have an
official rating of 4 stars and offer Self Catering and
All Inclusive holiday apartment accommodation.
The Apartments are located on a white sandy beach and
is fairly new as it was built in 1999. A choice of two
different types of accommodation according to your personal
taste. Guests can choose either the All Inclusive plan
or the Self Catering plan. In both cases, the beach, the
sun and the excellent service will allow guests to enjoy
a well earned relaxation.
Accommodation
The
resort consists of 349 twin rooms, suites and apartments.
The rooms and apartments are fully equipped with the following
amenities to please even the most demanding. The rooms
have either a balcony or patio, direct dial telephone,
air conditioning, mini bar, Satellite TV, safety deposit
box (extra charge) and fully equipped bathrooms with bath,
shower, W/C and hairdryer. The apartments have the same
amenities as well as a kitchen, refrigerator and patio.
Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, bed linen is changed
twice a week and towels are changed 3 times a week. Please
note that baby cots are available on request and will
count as 1 person in the room and not in addition to the
maximum occupancy.
All
Inclusive Food & Drinks
The
All Inclusive programme consists of breakfast (07:30 10:00),
lunch (12:30 14:00) and dinner (18:00 21:00), all buffet
style, served in the main restaurant. During meals hot
drinks, soft drinks, wine and beer are offered. Snack's
buffet is available at the snack bar at 14:30 as well
as tea & coffee time with biscuits & cakes between
15:30 & 16:30. Ice cream is offered at the main restaurant
during lunch & dinner and at the snack bar during
snack times. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic
drinks like hot drinks, soft drinks, wine, beer, spirits
and some cocktails are served at the pool bar (11:00 18:00),
the snack bar (11:00 18:00, cocktails excluded) and at
the salon bar (18:00 23:00).
Sport
facilities at the hotel include darts & football
(once per week), gym (for people over 14), keep-fit,
petanca / French bowls (once weekly), sauna (six times
weekly), sunbeds by the pool, table tennis, tennis during
the daytime, volleyball & waterpolo (2-3 x weekly),
whirlpool, pool towels and towels for the beach (with
deposit), daytime entertainment from 10:00-13:00 &
15:00-17:00 (rifle shooting, bingo, quiz times, fashion
shows), evening entertainment between 19:30 & 23:00
(cabaret shows, shows, mini-disco), as well as treasure
hunts, crafts such making pirate masks & beach games
for kids aged 4 to 12 years old (10:30-12:30 & 15:00-17:00).
Sports
& Leisure
The
resort offers 3 outdoor pools (1 heated), one children's
pool and recliners with cushions, umbrellas and a pool
bar. There are many sports and activities available
within the hotel and at the beach. There is tennis,
table tennis, billiards, a fitness room, volleyball,
Jacuzzi, sauna, massage, scuba diving, scuba diving
lessons and windsurfing. There is also a mini club for
children between 4 - 12 and a children's playground.
There is entertainment with sports and game activities
during the day and in the evenings there are various
shows and live music.

The
resort offers a 24 hour reception desk, currency exchange,
a beauty salon, boutique, supermarket, car rental and
doctor. Please note that the hotel is adapted to the
needs of disabled people. No pets are permitted.
