The Artist

From humble beginnings to world domination - that is the illustrated vision of Paul Loudon. Born in 1977 in Leigh near Wigan and residing in North Manchester, Paul lives and breathes a world of cartoon-like fantasy.

With creative weapons fully engaged, Paul brings to you a little slice of artistic heaven with images that veer from twisted to humour laden to flights of fantasy.

Graduating from Salford University with a graphic design degree in 2004, a course he undertook purely to contemporise his illustration work, Paul has subsequently garnered commissions in children's books, poster design and nightclub flyers to name but a few.

However, as Paul says:

"It's my stand alone art that bears the brunt of my self expression and creativity, and it is this work which I hold most dear".

Paul has recently discovered that many of his computer rendered drawings and characters translate wonderfully into large scale wall murals and what would be a collection canvases, if only his family and friends wouldn't keep grabbing them first!

Question his sanity of course, but let his creativity speak for itself.

Paul has also been heard on BBC GMR in a studio interview talking about his life and career as an illustrator and purveyor of comic book art.
