The Artist
Founder
of The Creative Space Studio, Debra Tracey has many years experience
of working with a range of groups (particularly vulnerable groups,
families and older adults) designing, delivering and co-ordinating
projects and courses.
The ethos
behind The Creative Space Studio is that of equality, diversity
and inclusion.
Debra has
taught adults at Manchester Adult Education Service for the
last 11 years and recently took voluntary severance. She teaches
a range of arts and crafts to vulnerable adults and says:
"...my
belief is that art is accessible....I am skilled in removing
barriers to learning which enable anyone to be creative".
She describes
her own personal works are very tactile, and she likes to work
with paper pulp, PVA, acrylic paint and even plasticine.
Debra has
been awarded the Special Award for Valued Service to Education
by Manchester City Council.
