The Artist
Alan Hawkins
is Manchester born and bred, and still retains his roots in
Manchester. He has painted full time since 1990.
He studied
at Hartford College of Art and on leaving went into the advertising
industry.
However,
the desire and the need to paint became the over-riding passion
and portrait painting in traditional oils is Alan’s sole
object.
Alan’s
works have been accepted by the Royal Society of Portrait painters
in London and has also been exhibited at the Mall Gallery London,
Warrington Art Gallery, Whitby Art Gallery and at G-Mex in Manchester.
Portraits
can be undertaken from photographs or as a sitting either in
their own surroundings or at my studio, and Alan is more than
happy to travel to accommodate for the client.
Alan Specialises
in Oil paintings onto Canvas and Portraits. Alan can paint any
family member from a combination of sittings and photographs
taken or provided.
He works
from The Stables, a Cheshire studio allowing him to concentrate
all his energies on his paintings.
Portraits commissions are taken and all portraits are painted
to the very best standard.
